Insert a Data Column
Reporting tools > Financial Analysis or Budgets > Format > Quick Insert Columns
- In an open analysis/budget, on the Format menu, click Quick Insert Columns.
- In the Insert For box, select Current Selection to insert an additional column for the selected column(s) or All to insert all columns using the selected criteria.
Note: Once selected, a single column of data for each specified
column will be inserted into the sheet, for example: you can select a
predefined format of Monthly and create 12 columns of analysis data, and
then select Quick Insert Columns and specify to insert a column of budget
data for 2004 using Book Value. Twelve additional columns are inserted
into the analysis, resulting in alternating between budget and actual
for the month.
- In the Data box, select the type of data you want to insert, Actual or Budget.
- In the Values box, select the type of values you want to insert, Book or MarketValue for the Balance Sheet.
- In the Years box, select the calendar year to display in the column.
- Click OK.
